MORGAN SHEPHERD TO OFFER 2010 RACE CAR FLEET FOR SALE
Have you ever wished you could own a part of NASCAR's history? Well now is your chance to become the owner of a real NASCAR Nationwide Series race car which was raced in 2010 on the national racing circuit by racing veteran Morgan Shepherd.
Shepherd is taking offers on four of the 2010 Chevrolet Impala SS race cars he piloted during the 2010 race season and the best offer over $5,000 each can take one or all of them.
"They are the way the came off the track," Shepherd said of the cars. "The engine and drive train has been removed, but everything else is there just like it was when we unloaded them from the hauler at the end of the season."
Shepherd said while the cars are no longer legal in the Nationwide Series due to the series switch to the newer Car of Tomorrow chassis, there are still lots of uses for the older body style cars, in racing and in show.
"You can still run this type body in ARCA and Pro-Cup and some of the other regional racing circuits," Shepherd said. "A great use for them would be as show cars for a Chevrolet car dealership or a charity. They are real race cars with most all of the goodies still on them so there aren't many like this that are being sold in this condition."
Shepherd said anyone who is interested in purchasing one or more of the cars should give him a call. He is ready to deal! Call Shepherd at 828-256-2194 and get your own 2010 Chevrolet Impala SS today.
"Try going to your local car lot and buying a 2010 model for $5,000," Shepherd joked. "They should make someone a nice show piece or race car."
