Preparation Begins! It's The 39th Year Of The Morgan Shepherd Charity Trip

Picture
Dear Friends,

The ministry of the Morgan Shepherd Charitable Fund has been made possible for 38 years now, due to the kind and generous support received from friends like yourself.

We are currently preparing for the 39th year of the Morgan Shepherd Charity trip to the Virginia mountains. On December 15th, 2025, we will visit our friends at the PARC workshop in Stuart, VA. We are excited to be returning to Stuart with a day of fun activities and giving of gifts.

The charity raises funds to support the PARC Workshop, a private non-profit organization, which provides handicapped adult jobs and training in daily living skills. The workshop does not receive government grants. They rely on donations from the charity to upgrade their facility and enhance their programs. In addition, the charity has donated a modular home to assist in training clients in daily independent living skills.

As you prepare for the holiday season, I ask that you would prayerfully consider giving to the Morgan Shepherd Charitable Fund. The Morgan Shepherd Charity is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation-Tax ID number 31-1480630. Through your donation, you can help bring the love of Christ to those less fortunate.

In Christ’s Love,
Morgan and Cindy

Morgan Shepherd Charity Raises $17,000 For PARC Workshop

Picture
This year marked the 30th anniversary of the Morgan Shepherd Charity Ride, which was held on Monday, December 12th and traveled to Stuart, VA's PARC workshop.

PARC is a workshop for handicapped adults which refinish antique furniture and learn life skills. They receive no government funding, therefore they rely greatly on assistance from others.

We provided a Christmas party with entertainment and gifts for all clients. It was a fun-filled day for all involved.  We were able to assist the PARC workshop,  which is not government funded, with a gift of $17,000 so that they may continue in 2017. The entire day was in memory of our friend Henry Ayers who passed away in September.

During Christmas week we travel to Georgia and Alabama sharing Christmas joy with two different communities there.

Thank you and Merry Christmas from all of us at Morgan Shepherd Racing!
